Since his arrest in 2010, the art establishment has been working tirelessly to make his artworks inaccessible to the public. Museums, galleries and auction houses alike have barred Beltracchi from exhibiting and selling his art. As an ordinary person, it is near impossible to obtain an original Beltracchi. It is in the art establishment’s utmost interest to maintain the status quo, and to continue to dictate what is and what isn’t art.
This is why we utilize the Internet and the Ethereum blockchain to give the world unrestricted access to one of the last living old masters of our time.
The fine art collectible tokens are carefully crafted using a blend of old painting mastery and modern technology to create an artwork that captures the ethos of our time. Traditionally, art is what you see. Using the blockchain, art extends far beyond what you simply see on the canvas, but it embodies the user experience, the sales mechanism, and the transparent data of each movement of the pieces.
We are bringing the most famous art forger in the world into the unforgeable world of digital art. And he is going to do what he does best: use his encyclopaedia of art knowledge, an unrivalled depth in the understanding of painting techniques, and a meticulous execution to create masterpieces that could have been created by the hands of the old masters themselves.
There are a total of 30+ series in “The Greats” collection, each corresponding to a different era or style in art history. The information of the series is recorded in the metadata.
